RELIEF WORKS TO LEPERS, HIV AND OLD AGE WIDOWS
We believe it is an hour of evangelism and social action. We are committed to helping people who are in desperate need. We extended our arms to the victims of natural calamities, fire accidents, and downtrod people. As a part of our help to the community, we are serving the people as mentioned below.
TAILORING SCHOOL
It is an institution that started to help the poor girls working as servant maids were trained to stand on their legs and give them confidence and self-reliance.
AID TO LEPERS
We also extend our help to the people affected by leprosy; these people are untouchables and not cared for by society living at the extreme ends of the cities. Some Lepers opted to get their food by begging, and some are unable to even beg because of the severity of the disease. They need food and care. In these circumstances, we have adopted 53 lepers providing Rice and some food material every month.
OLDAGE & WIDOWS HELP
These are the neglected people and not looked at by the present generation. This is much-needed work in India. Many older people and widows are on the streets without food and shelter. As there are no proper rehabilitation centers for such people in India, by His Grace, we were able to support the Elder people: 10 and widows: 15. There are many more deserving old-aged and widows looking for help.
MEDICAL CAMPS
Carmel Ministries visit many villages along with vocational college students and hold medical camps giving the rural people awareness on hygiene and other Health related problems and supporting the women with necessary tests and eye tests, sugar tests, and free medicines and nutrition supplies to poor men, women, and children.
SUPPORT TO HIV-INFECTED CHILDREN
COVID 19 RELIEF SUPPORT
CARMEL MINISTRIES IS INVOLVED IN HELPING HIV-INFECTED CHILDREN. WE SUPPORT 30 CHILDREN EVERY MONTH WITH NUTRITIOUS FOOD SUPPLEMENTS FOR HIV-INFECTED CHILDREN TO COPE UP WITH THE MEDICINE THEY ARE TAKING AND FOR BETTER LIFE.
